Disabled Facilities
Epsom Downs Racecourse has a range of disabled facilities available.
Opening Times:
9.30am – 3pmPowerPoint presentations:
- We ask that each speaker’s PowerPoint presentation is emailed to us 2 weeks before the event takes place and we will load the presentations onto the laptop ready for when you arrive. Please note that if we do not receive the presentation in advance, we are unable to check if it will run correctly on the AV equipment set up in the seminar theatre.
- Please provide the presentation slides formatted to size 16:9
- Please also bring a backup copy of your presentation with you to the event, ideally on a USB stick.
- If your presentation is too large to send by email, please send it to us using the free file sharing websitewww.wetransfer.com.
- Please let us know in advance if you wish to play video or audio in your presentation.
- Please let us know when you send your presentation over if you DO NOT wish for a PDF version of your PowerPoint to be shared with attendees after the event.
- If you include photos in your presentation, please ensure you have obtained the necessary permissions to use them.

- A projector and a laptop on a lectern are provided to run your PowerPoint presentation from and we provide a microphone.
- Around 100 chairs for visitors are laid out in theatre style facing the projector screen.
- A hand-held microphone is provided for audience questions and answers.
- An AV technician will be on hand to run through the equipment with you at the start of your session and will stay in the room during your seminar.
Seminar timings:
- Each seminar slot is 30 - 45 minutes long, questions and answers must take place within this time.
- We ask that all presenters arrive at the event at least 45 minutes before their session starts and confirm their arrival at the Registration desk.
- We ask all presenters to go to the seminar theatre 10 minutes before their session is due to begin.

Epsom Downs Racecourse is just a few minutes from Epsom Town Centre on the B290 Epsom Downs Road or alternatively just off junction 9 of the M25. If you are using satellite navigation, please key in the postcode: KT18 5LQ.
By Train: Epsom Station is connected by both Southwest Trains and Southern Trains. Connections from Waterloo & London Victoria. Take a 10-minute taxi or bus ride from the station.
Tattenham Corner Station is approx. ½ mile walk to the racecourse.
