After a time where staying connected to the care sector proved difficult, it is now more important than ever to remain at the forefront of change and progress within the industry.

The creators of Future of Care Conference and Care Roadshows, two of the leading events for care workers, have been the sectors first events out the door for 2021. Despite having to adapt to the new way of life, the events have succeeded in many ways – offering hope that face-to-face events are safely returning.

Care Roadshows recently visited Aintree Racecourse on the 13th July for their first event of the year. The day brought the leading suppliers in front of eager visitors and ran a fantastic seminar and workshop programme alongside.

One delegate commented,

“Considering the COVID limitations, I think you put on a terrific roadshow and I look forward to attending future events.”

The next event, set to return to Hampden Park in Glasgow, will be taking place on the 9th September and plans to be yet another successful come-back.

Visitors can expect to hear from Dr. Donald Macaskill, CEO at Scottish Care; Senga Currie, Head of Development (Scotland) at Quality Compliance Systems and Linda Kemp, Service Manager at Care Inspectorate.

Following on from Glasgow, the Roadshows will be travelling to London on the 19th October and Cardiff on the 9th November. Each event will host the popular free-to-attend seminars and a workshop guaranteed to provide new exciting ideas for engagement and well-being. Topics visitors can expect to discover more about are how to achieve Outstanding, dementia, recruitment and updates from Care Inspectorate and Care Quality Commission.

For one lucky visitor, they’ll be a cash prize of £100 awarded during the event and for the person who invites the most colleagues – a £100 John Lewis voucher!

Headline Sponsor, Quality Compliance Systems (QCS), are providing visitors at each event with free tea and coffee – plus a free thermal cup to go with it. Visit QCS on their impressive stand or book a slot at their User Labs, for a one-to-one 30 minute session where you’ll discover everything you need to know about their services.
