Starting off the day is a panel discussion on ‘Recruitment and Retention – Defeating the Crisis’. Ensure to join this session as our panelists discuss what possibilities 2022 can provide to transport employment within the care sector into a new era.
Future of Care
Come and share your thoughts with our second set of panelists as they explore ideas on what the next 5 – 10 years might look like for the care sector. They will discuss some of the sectors current hot topics including the role of technology, funding, and collaboration opportunities.
The lovely Jackie Pool, Dementia Care Champion from Quality Compliance Systems Ltd, will be enlightening us on meaningful engagement matters in dementia care. This seminar will be taking a deeper look into what it is to be ‘Meaningful’ and the utmost importance of getting this right for the well-being of a person with dementia. Jackie will further explain what is meant by meaningful engagement and the benefits of this to a person with dementia, their close ones, care givers and care service providers.
Update from the CQC
We will have the pleasure of hearing from Carl Gillson, Inspection Manager from Care Quality Commission, as he shares the latest updates from CQC. Join this session to get a better understanding of how CQC are changing the way they regulate to improve care for everyone alongside the publication of their new strategy. Additionally, there will be an update on the work done by CQC over the past 12 months and a chance to ask questions to your local inspection manager.
Exhibition, Networking and Prize Draw
There will be plenty of opportunity to browse the exhibition floor holding a variety of products and services to test and try.
