26th June 2019
Following the success of the London event in March, the organisers of the Future of Care Conference are delighted to announce that the conference will also be launching in Leeds for the first time later this year, and bookings for the event are now open. Specifically tailored for care professionals, the conference will be held at the Hilton Hotel, Leeds City on 15th October 2019, and will host a thought-provoking seminar programme with an outstanding line-up of speakers.
During the event, leading industry experts will provide informative talks based on their knowledge and experience, discussing key trends and current challenges within the sector. With speakers including Caroline Dinenage MP, Minister of State at the Department of Health and Social Care, Kathryn Smith, Alzheimer’s Society, Lucy Harmer, Independent Age, and Anita Charlesworth, Health Foundation, delegates will hear from those at the forefront of shaping the industry.
There will also be two dedicated panel sessions providing the chance for the audience to ask questions on the issues that most affect them, to ensure a social care system fit for the future. The conference has been designed especially for care home owners, managers and decision-makers to provide them with the latest sector updates and innovation.
ITV News Presenter, Sameena Ali-Khan has also recently been confirmed to chair the conference. Sameena anchors national bulletins for ITV at weekends, and throughout the week on Central Tonight in the Midlands, covering a wide range of stories across daily news and documentaries.
