Blue Stream Academy is offering free essential refresher training for professionals returning to work within the health and social care sectors.

Blue Stream Academy is offering a set of ‘Essential Refresher Training’ modules, available free of charge, to any professionals returning to work within the health and social care sectors.

These modules are available to both clinical and non-clinical staff and are designed to refresh each returning staff member on the essential training required to safely deliver patient-centred care.

Each topic has been summarised and presented on the quickest and easiest eLearning platform within the UK, all of which can be accessed on any device that is connected to the internet.

The non-clinical package covers training on:

  • Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs),
  • Basic Life Support for Adults, Children and Infants,
  • Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS),
  • GDPR Awareness,
  • Risk Management,
  • Safeguarding Adults and Children (Level 1).

The clinical package also covers additional modules on:

  • Dementia Awareness,
  • Medicines Management,
  • Safeguarding Adults and Children (Level 2)
  • Sepsis Awareness.

Both packages include an Induction module alongside our new COVID-19 Staff Support Toolkit.
